Layer Mode: Linear Light

If the beneath layer color is brighter than 50%, it will add to the current layer. If the beneath layer color is darker than 50%, it will subtract from the current layer.
If using 50% gray (128, 128, 128) in the linear light layer, the beneath layer will not be effected at all.(neutral color)
