openCanvas is a paint software which also enables you to record/replay the drawing procedure.

Fuzichoco is one of the most popular illustrator in Japan, who has the outstanding color sense and world-view. Its soft and pale illustrations captivate viewers. Favorite food is sweets.

My favorite tool is the Pencil. It doesn’t give you too much CG feeling! And I like the Smudge tool. If I use Smudge, colors get mixed unexpectedly so it helps the wide range of expression.
Free Deformation is the function I was looking for long time, so I am really glad that the new version is equipped with Free Deformation.
For instance, I want to draw a character holding a magazine. I can draw a magazine in a separate canvas and deform it to put into the character.
I think it enables a lot of possibility.
I don’t use Blur correction much, but I use it when I draw a long curve line, such as hair. openCanvas 5 is improved at many aspects from openCanvs 4. Please try it!
It is to create a new canvas and expand the world. As for the character, you requested something like computer so that I decided to use blue as a main color. I tried to anthropomorphize “openCanvas”. It may be a bit too unique design but hope people like it.

It is a making of Fuzichoco’s illustration created by openCanvas!
